Materials Needed:

  • A Bloem Planter or two and a plant tray
  • Green Moss
  • Dirt
  • Small Stones
  • Fairy Garden Accessories (We got ours at Hobby Lobby!)
  • Plants

1. Pick out a couple planters that you want to set your fairy garden up in. We chose a 4" Living Green Terra Planter and a 10" Terra Cotta Dura Cotta planter, as well as a Terra Tray to set ours up.

2. Lay some green moss at the bottom of your planter to cover up the holes.

3. Put down a little bit of dirt into the pots and tray. We also filled one of our pots to the top with dirt.

4. Now it's time for the fun part: decorating! Place your fairy garden supplies where you'd like them to be. There is no right or wrong way to do this; just place them where you feel they look best!

  • We planted a small plant in our terra planter to accessorize!
  • We also created a little path using small stones laid down to look like cobblestone.
  • It's also fun to add a little more of the moss that you used in the beginning to look like bushes.
  • Keep on adding things until you feel like you can't add anymore!

And that's all it takes to make your own adorable fairy garden to keep your plants company!
